Kalaloch, WA - South Beach campground

Couple of our fellow campers walking along the shore at sunset. It was gorgeous, but VERY windy and cool.

Everything in this photo looks very peaceful and calm, despite what you say about it being very windy that day :) I believe I can see clouds reflected in the water, which adds to the peaceful atmosphere. One gets the feeling that the two people walking there are the only people in the world (or at least the only people for MANY miles around).
Some people might think that the plants in the front disturb the photo as a whole by distracting the viewer's attention, but I would disagree. I would say that these plants make the photo seem more natural. This otherworldly feeling that one gets when looking at the photo (from the sea, the reflections, the two lonely figures in the distance) disappears because of the plants. It makes the viewer realize that this wonderful place we see here actually exists.
As it is with photos, you have to be very lucky to catch the right moment, the right photo. I think you took a wonderful shot here. There isn't really anything I think you could improve about this photo or your technique. This is what I would call the aforementioned lucky shot. Very nicely done! :D

Hey, thanks so much for your indepth feedback! I appreciate all your comments and will try to look for those things next time I take a photo. This was definitely a lucky shot, but sometimes you can incorporate that into things on purpose. :lol:

What an increidble view! I love the colors and vibrancy of this. The composition looks balanced as well. I really love the contrast in the sky as well. Gorgeous work here! I love it! :la:

You really can't leap into the ocean when the tide is out like that anyway xD It's maybe a foot deep when you get about 15 feet out. You'd get a lot of sand in your face xD
